Hello! I’m Julie Diaz, a passionate designer based in Queens, New York. I’m a Dominican, queer woman who finds joy in creating art across various mediums. Since graduating from CUNY Hunter College with a degree in Media Studies in December 2023, I’ve continued to grow my creative practice while working at WPP Media.
With over three years of experience working on a variety of design projects, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to everything from developing websites and visual identities for local businesses to creating digital graphics for streetwear and skate brands. These experiences have strengthened my ability to bring thoughtful, engaging visual solutions to a wide range of creative challenges.
Fun facts about me.
I started a book club and have successfully managed 24 new members within the last 5 months. I’ve had so much fun planning events, designing our materials, and leading engaging discussions.
I was a barista for 3 years while in college and I attribute so much of my good work ethic to the fast paced environment. There I learned quick prioritization skills, how to make the perfect latte, and I even won Barista of the Quarter🎉
I love exploring new passions. Ive been diving into the world of DJing and I’ve had so much fun finding new growth and creativity in a different craft.
